Program of your trip to Northern Brittany on the Lighthouse Route

Day 1: Arrival in Plouguerneau

Arrival in Plouguerneau and installation at your hotel. Rest of the day free.

Day 2: Vierge Island

Discovery of the Vierge Island and its lighthouse. After a boat trip of about 5 minutes, you will face the tallest freestone lighthouse in the world with its 82.5 meters height! But to enjoy a spectacular view, you will have to climb the 365 steps!

Day 3: Le Conquet

Head to Le Conquet. Along the way, don’t miss the Lighthouse of Trézien. This directional lighthouse delimits the Atlantic Ocean from the English Channel; it is aligned with the Kermorvan lighthouse and for the past hundred years it has been a safe way to cross the channel of the Four. Arrival at Le Conquet and installation at your hotel. Free visit of the Saint-Mathieu lighthouse and its beautiful abbey.

Day 4: Ouessant Island

Getaway on the island of Ouessant. After a 45-minute crossing, set out to conquer the island. Located off the coast of Finistère, Ouessant is the last land before… America! Known for its sheep, lighthouses and rough seas, Ouessant is also a calm and authentic island renowned for its superb wild landscapes. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Ouessant Island - Crozon Peninsula

Discover the island of Ouessant on your own without forgetting a visit to the Stiff lighthouse: This one is the oldest lighthouse still in operation in Brittany! During your exploration, walk by the Créac’h lighthouse, one of the most powerful lighthouses in the world! On the program: Rental of a kayak to discover the many lighthouses around the island: Nividic lighthouse, Jument lighthouse, Kéréon lighthouse. At the end of the day, return to the mainland and drive to Camaret sur Mer and the Crozon peninsula. To see on the road: The Petit Minou lighthouse in Plouzané. Installation at your hotel

Days 6 and 7: Crozon Peninsula

End of your trip by the sea in Camaret sur Mer, on the famous and magnificent peninsula of Crozon. It is a true preserved jewel of the Breton coast and it offers extraordinary panoramas! There you will find small coves with turquoise water, steep cliffs, seaside resorts, small sheltered ports and a preserved heritage. Whether you want to explore the hiking trails, practice water sports or enjoy the many beaches, the Crozon Peninsula is waiting for you!

Day 8 : Departure

Departure from your hotel.
