Day 1 : Welcome to Carentan les Marais
Your holidays in the Cotentin’s region start in Carentan les Marais, where you set up your luggage in your guesthouse house. Capital of the Marshes Regional Nature Reserve, Carentan owns an exceptional natural heritage. A rich cultural and historical past makes Carentan a place full of history. The city is home to many of buildings listed historical monuments.
Day 2 : From Barfleur to Tatihou Island
For this morning, go in total freedom discover one of the most beautiful port and village in France : Barfleur !
Then, climb the 365 steps of the Gatteville lighthouse, the 2nd largest in France and Europe ! At the top, you will enjoy the spectacular view of the city ! In the afternoon, enjoy a private sea trip to the Cotentin coastline and Tatihou Island. This walk will be highlighted by an oyster tasting !
Day 3 : Nature walk in the marshes
See you at the Regional Nature Reserve of Carentan Les Marais, entrance of a garden and a remarkable natural area.
In this place, you will appreciate a preservate and natural environment of the marshes. All seasons are ideal to discover this ornithological reserve. A piece of advice : don’t forget your binoculars ! Then, go for a ride on an electric bike on one of the many circuits available in this lush park. A stay in Normandy definitely based on the nature !
Day 4 : Granville and its fortifications
Enjoy some free time to discover the beautiful seaside resort of Granville. You can walk at your own rythm and according to your desires. The streets of the city show the traces of its military and religious past, such as its fortifications. During your visit, houses full of character and picturesque hotels from de 16th and 18th centuries will make your walk more pleasant.
Day 5 : Chausey Islands, the largest archipelago in Europe

Day 6 : Relax in Granville and go to the Mont Saint-Michel
